Gobstoppers are a real retro classic sweet, also known as Jawbreakers (though that is actally a unique brand). As a kid, we loved gob stoppers because just a few would last for HOURS.
On a quirky note – gobstoppers are sometimes used in New Zealand for timing the run of a Kontiki!
Ingredients: Dextrose, modified starch, maltodextrin, flavourings, anticaking agent: magnesium stearate; colours: 104, 120, 129, 133, 153, 160a, 160e, 171; glazing agent: carnauba wax.
